Tajveed o Qira’at:

This department is offering three disciplines.

i)             Tajveed                ii)            Qira’at                  iii)           Rasm ul Khat Al Usmani

i)Tajweed

The word "Tajveed" means to improve, make better.

Tajveed of the Holy Qur'an is the knowledge and application of the rules of recitation as per the Holy Quran revealed. In other words to recite the Holy Quran perfectly with beautiful and excellent voice is called Tajveed.

The students learn to recite Holy Qura’n according to the principles of Tajveed and complete the Holy Quran with Riwayat e Hafs (Reciting Way of Imam Hafs).

ii)            Qira’at:

                Ten (7+3) Different ways of recitation of the Holy Quran are called Qira’at Ashra. These different ways of recitation are that, the Holy Quran has been revealed with. The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) taught his companions these Qira’at and said: “Recite the Holy Quran according to the way you have been taught”.

So these Qira’at are taught in this department.

ii)            Rasm ul Khat Al Usmani (script of the Holy Quran):

                The Holy Quran has its unique script system that is called Rasm e Usmani/Qurani. Rasm e Usmani is the style and system of spelling of the Holy Quran which was agreed upon by the companions of the Holy Prophet in the rein of Hazrat Usman Ghani (R.A).

At this time more than 600 students are studying in this department. These students are getting  Dars e Nizami and contemporary education along with Qira’at.
